Locker nameplate belonging to Ayami Sato (#18), hung in the Los Angeles Queens' locker room at Robin Roberts Stadium during the inaugural WPBL Championship Series in September 2026. Los Angeles won the best-of-five series in five games, and Sato clinched the league's first title herself with a complete-game shutout in Game 5, the first complete game and first shutout in WPBL history. Pulled from the champions' clubhouse, it is a behind-the-scenes keepsake from the series that made the Queens the league's first title winners.

Sato is one of the most decorated players in women's baseball history, winning six Women's Baseball World Cup titles with Japan and becoming the only player to earn three consecutive tournament MVP awards in 2014, 2016 and 2018. In 2025 she became the first woman to play professional men's baseball in Canada with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Los Angeles later selected her second overall in the inaugural WPBL Draft.

A TRuEST™ authenticator was on-site to witness this item's official use, verifying its direct involvement in the game.
